Centro Médico Teknon has consolidated its leading position in the healthcare field with the acquisition of a cutting-edge da Vinci robot platform, an innovative surgical system that incorporates in its software the latest scientific technology to translate the movements of the surgeon’s hands into the precisest of movements. This new investment makes Teknon the first private clinic in Catalonia to offer the da Vinci robot and widens the scope of its treatment services to patients,services which can be personalised to the case at hand.

Da Vinci reduces the duration of surgery and the risk of bleeding, thereby improving post-surgical recovery. According to Dr Josep María Payà, Medical Director of Centro Médico Teknon, "its first class, three-dimensional display and versatile movements give surgeons greater precision for complex surgical movements.
